Affordable Apartments in South Austin 

Cadena at The Falls is a mixed-income community providing top-notch residences and amenity spaces. Along with market-rate rents, a portion of our well-appointed living spaces are reserved at economical rental rates for households earning 80 percent of median household income. To qualify for our affordable South Austin apartment homes, all applicants need to meet the standard rental qualifications, and combined gross annual income cannot exceed the income limits of the 80% median family income limits per the respective number of person(s) living in the home. Median Family Income 80%:

  • 1-person home may earn no more than $68,500 annually
  • 2-person home may earn no more than $78,250 annually
  • 3-person home may earn no more than $88,050 annually
  • 4-person home may earn no more than $97,800 annually
  • 5-person home may earn no more than $105,650 annually
  • 6-person home may earn no more than $113,450 annually

Income Verification:

To begin the application for Cadena, we ask that you present the following documents:

  • Paystubs for the most recent four-week period
  • Bank Statement for most recent month
  • Tax returns for the most two recent two tax years
  • Other potential income – SSI, Child Support, Cash Gifts, etc.
